Customer-Centric: Above and Beyond


  • Late Holiday Delivery Request: An 11:30 PM last-minute delivery on the 4th of July, to a young family with 3 children that had a challenging and very long car ride to Narragansett. Checking into their beach home rental, they discovered that there were no sheets or towels provided. YES - we answered when they called very late at night and we delivered everything within an hour of receiving their panicked call for bedding!
  • Desperately Cold Guests: An unexpected cold front in early June at a camp site where 20 members of a wedding party found themselves in a chilly predicament because their cabins did not have heat. We delivered 20 blankets, one for each person, immediately after receiving their plea for help.
  • No More Delivery Fees - Compensating Customers. We made a decision this season to eliminate all delivery fees, but at the point we decided to do this, we had customers that had already paid this fee. What did we do? We REFUNDED the delivery fee to everyone that had already paid for the summer of 2017.
  • Community Service: We take great pride in the quality and cleanliness of our rental items, so at the end of every season, we end up with stained/damaged inventory which can never be rented again. Sometimes just a tiny little spec of a stain will be on an otherwise perfect towel or sheet. Rather than wastefully disposing of these non-rentable items, we donate them to local homeless shelters.
